WWF-Türkiye Project for Innovative Business Models for Recycling Workers in Gaziantep
"Capacity Building Program for NGOs," it seeks to strengthen local NGOs' capabilities, particularly in rights-based work, to better support disadvantaged groups, including waste collectors and their families. The project includes training and awareness programs that promote social support, entrepreneurship, and health for these workers, fostering better integration into official recycling systems.
Equaty-Based Approach Module
Equity goes beyond equality (treating everyone the same) to ensure fairness by acknowledging and addressing specific needs or barriers faced by disadvantaged groups. Equity-based approaches aim to reduce disparities in access to resources, opportunities, and outcomes by tailoring support according to individual or group circumstances. While RBA aims to empower individuals to claim rights, equity-focused approaches work to provide the tools and conditions necessary to address and balance unequal starting points.
